Have you ever picked up a book and
knew within the first few pages you were going to love it? That is how it was with The Cottages of
Silver Beach. I had no idea that this
was part of a series, but by the time I was on page 12, I was curious about
some of the things mentioned. I looked
it up and realized it is actually book 8 in the Haven Point series. When Megan mentions Wyatt I knew that I was
missing some information. However; this
can be read as a standalone and everything comes together in the end.
Anyway, like I mentioned by the time
I hit page 12, I was enthralled into this story. I was loving Megan and Elliott. Even though you knew this was going to be
about two characters who have a love/hate relationship, it did not take away
from the story for me. There was so much
more going on around their relationship as well. I do not want to give anything away, but you
need to go pick this up if you love a good romance.
I really loved the writing style and
the pace of the story. This was my first
book by RaeAnne Thayne, but I will be picking up more soon.
