I was sent this book from the publisher/publicity team. My ratings and reviews will be my own personal opinions and are in no way influenced by publishers or authors who may have sent me books to review.

I was really excited for this one, especially after hearing some others thoughts around the story. This started off pretty good. I was really interested in both Jack and Pepper. The whole app concept was really interesting, and I would have liked more around that.

This was really immature and annoying when it came to the Twitter war that occurred within the story. I was over it and kept thinking how childish it all was, especially for a big time company. I liked how the author brought Twitter into it, as I can see trying to be more modern but it did not work for me. I know it tuned into a mutual thing eventually, but I just never bought into the story.

I ended up DNFing this around 60%. I feel I read enough to rate

I was really excited for this one and knew it was going to tear at my heart, and I was right. This was sad right from the get go. I knew the rest of the story was going to be gut wrenching based on the beginning. However; for me the story really started and picked up once James came into the picture. I absolutely love their romance! Everything James said and did made me swoon! As their feelings develop, my heart was breaking for them both!

I really love how BLANK wanted to take control of her own life and her life wishes. It was a powerful message, and a beautiful thing to see how the world/community came together to make it happen for her.

Yes, this was predictable. You know what is going to happen from the first few pages. But, this was still an amazing read. If you love emotional reads, you need to pick this one up!

Overall, this story gave me all of the feels and I cannot wait to read more from this author.

I was really pulled into this one by the synopsis, but I was not sure where the story would go once I started reading it. I was instantly pulled in from the very first chapter. The author did a great job getting you instantly engaged with the characters and their story. This did deal with the death of the children including a murder/suicide of 17 children.

As the story continued though, I really lost interest. The story moved to a very heavy detective plot, and I just was not enjoying that. Things were happening, but not happening at the same time. We had new cases coming into story. Even though they were connecting to the school bus incident, it was just not working for me.

I skimmed to the end to find out what happened with this one.

I am not usually a huge fan of multiple POV, but this one really worked for me. I really enjoyed getting to know all of the characters, their stories, and how they intertwined. I was not a huge fan of how judgmental the deputy was in the beginning when everything first started happening though.

Overall, this story gave me all of the feels and I cannot wait to read more from this author.

I flew through this one and I really enjoyed it. I was not really sure if I would love it, but I did and I have already added the rest of the series to my TBR. I love that the rest of the series follows the other Stephens brothers. I cannot wait to see where their stories go as well.

I really enjoyed how Andrew and Carly cross paths and being able to watch their romance bloom into what it was. The author did a great job juggling the different emotions as well as I felt so many while reading their story.

Overall, I really enjoyed this one. This was my first by this author, but will not be the last.
