Army ranger Travis Hammond needs to heal physical and emotional wounds. A job in Covenant Falls checking out equine therapy programs for veterans is a start, but it’s only temporary. And he doesn’t need a partner, especially some reporter with the persistence of a terrier and irresistible green eyes. Like Travis, Jenny Talbot’s just passing through town. Unlike Travis, Jenny knows exactly where she’s going next—back to the Middle East, as soon as she recovers from her own war injury. But there’s a bend in the road for both of them.
MY REVIEW:
Rating: 4 Stars
Format: Paperback

I was sent this book as part of a blog tour. My ratings and reviews will be my own personal opinions and are in no way influenced by publishers or authors who may have sent me books to review.
I have been loving stories around our military, so this caught my interest right away. I love how this deals with both Travis and Jenny being in the military. I loved hearing about the town who helps the returning veterans. I really enjoyed the writing style and how easily the story flowed.

This book made me so nervous. It had nothing to do with the book itself,
but with agreeing to review it. It came
to me a little under a week and a half before my blog stop, and I worried I was
not going to be able to get through it in time.
I also did not realize this is actually the fifth book in the Home to
Covenant Falls series. I did read this
as a standalone, but would love to have read the rest of the series as well. Well, I had nothing to worry about as this
was so good, I flew through it only a few days.

I am pretty sad about this series. No, I have not read the other books yet, but
I plan too. I liked this one so much I
wanted to check out the other books and I was shocked to see that they only
have four to five reviews each. Based on
this book, this series deserves so much more than that and I am happy to help
shed some light on this author and series.
I just bought book one off of Amazon as I wanted to read more and see if
I enjoy the writing and story as much as I did in this one. I will keep you posted. But, if you love military romances, I
recommend going and checking out this series.

Great review Kelly, thanks for sharing! I'm part of the tour but wasn't able to squeeze in a review this week. Now I'm definitely looking forward to reading this series. :)
