Fallen Heir by Erin Watt: Book Review

I was sent this book from the author/publisher.  It did not sway my review.

Summary:

"These Royals will ruin you.

Easton Royal has it all: looks, money, intelligence. His goal in life is to have as much fun as possible. He never thinks about the consequences because he doesn’t have to.

Until Hartley Wright appears, shaking up his easy life. She’s the one girl who’s said no, despite being attracted to him. Easton can’t figure her out and that makes her all the more irresistible.

Hartley doesn’t want him. She says he needs to grow up.

She might be right.

Rivals. Rules. Regrets. For the first time in Easton’s life, wearing a Royal crown isn’t enough. He’s about to learn that the higher you start, the harder you fall."

MY REVIEW:
My Rating: 4 Stars
Format: Kindle

I was lucky enough to get an E-ARC of Fallen Heir from the author/publisher.

I loved the Paper Princess books and Easton was one of my favorite characters.  The Fallen Heir follows Easton, so this was one of my most anticipated releases this year.  I was so excited to get back into the Royal family.

I loved how the author kept Easton, Easton.  This starts off with Easton being a sarcastic womanizer.  I know it sounds odd, but it is just Easton.  I was laughing and happy to see his character was the same in this one right off the back.  This also just made me fall right back into the Royal family and remember everything I loved about the other three books in this series.

I liked the friendship/romance between Easton and Hartley.  It was not insta-love and I liked how they were working on a friendship with each other.

The ending!!!  WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!  All I can say, it comes out of nowhere and you will not predict what happened.  I was very happy that the next page does say another Royal story is coming in the beginning of 2018.  THANK GOODNESS since we are left with a cliffhanger!

Overall, I really enjoyed getting back into these characters.  You do not get much Reed or Gid, but there is a little bit of everyone else.  I think you will love this if you loved the other books.
