Losing the Field by Abbi GlinesI am not too critical of books for the most part, but this one was just not for me. Being plus sized, this was making me so mad (and I am not usually sensitive). Do not get me wrong! There are tons of stories following a fat character who is not noticed for their beauty until they lose weight. Yes, it is problamatic but it never bothered me. But this was on a differnet level. When our main character was fat, she was not only ugly, but a loner. She was not noticed and did not have any friends. I just could not deal with so much negativity around someone being plus size. This was a DNF for me.
