I was so excited for this when it came out, so when I saw it on Blogging for Books I immediately requested it for review. I was ready to jump in as soon as it arrived at my door.
I think this had so much potential, but I ended up DNF (did not finish) it. I know, I know! I think this is a case of "it is me, not the book." I have attempted to read three other books by Leigh Bardugo and I just cannot get into her writing style. I guess I just need to accept that this may not be the author for me. I hate that since her works are all the buzz within the book community, but I cannot continue to force myself to like what I just do not like.
