I was sent this book for review, and I am very happy I was introduced to Sheila Roberts writing.

"'Puppies are great,' Charley agreed. Men are even better. Why don't you splurge and get both?"

This was my first Sheila Roberts read, and I can say I was pretty happy. I was a little worried since this was the 10th book in a series, but it can be read as a standalone. I never felt lost and the story builds upon the characters and town of Icicle Falls.

I really enjoyed the plot of this book. This is actually three stories about three different women, but I really loved that they are all connected. You get to read about their own journey, but also about their friendship with one another. There were certain parts of each character that I think you can really identify with which made it even more special.

I really enjoyed the writing style as well. I actually found myself grinning or laughing at some parts.

It was also a cute touch with the recipes at the end of the book!

I want to read more about Icicle Falls and these characters, so I will be picking up another book in this series.
