This has a silicone base and lid with a metal tea holder. It is very sturdy and the lid does not just fall off. I really like that, as I at first thought this would be very cheap.
I really have been trying to get into drinking tea lately. I have really been enjoying Jasmine tea, but I hate when my loose tea gets into my water. I was excited to get this product to see it helped this problem, and it did! I think this works great and is a must for any loose tea drinkers.
