Obsession by Patricia Bradley

Obsession (Natchez Trace Park Rangers, #2)Obsession by Patricia Bradley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am a huge fan of Patricia Bradley so I was excited to get a copy of Obsession. This is the second book in the series but it can be read as a standalone. I did not read book one, but plan to go back to it since I enjoyed this one so much.
The author just does romantic suspense so well. This is a Christian romance, but do not let that turn you off from picking this up. This is a fast paced story that you will love.

I really enjoyed both the plot and the characters in this one. I cannot wait to see where the next book will go in the series. This may be my new favorite from her.

This had a very great start. Everything happened pretty quickly and I was instantly pulled into the story. This story is told in three different parts. I flew through part one. It was really good and really captured my attention. Part two did slow down a little, but still had details that kept me reading. Part three was ok. I did not love the direction everything was heading. It was pretty predictable and obvious what happened to cause everything that was currently happening.

Overall, I enjoyed this one though.

This is a Young Adult story but does deal with our main characters being a little older (Penelope is 18). This did read more young adult to me though. This is a story about Pen and Xander finding who they are and growing up. Both are out in the world trying to figure out life.
I would not say this is a romance though. The romance does not even come into play into almost 40% into the story.

I liked some aspects of this story, but just did not love the direction this one took. I found myself drifting and skimming through parts. It just lost my interest.
